Ugandan musician King Saha has temporarily suspended his upcoming performances after his doctors advised him to take time off and concentrate on his recovery.
The singer shared the announcement through his X account, addressing his fans, promoters and people who had booked him for shows scheduled this week. He asked for their understanding as he takes a break from performing.
“Health comes first. Taking some time to rest and recover as advised by my doctors. Thank you all for understanding and keeping me in your prayers,” King Saha said.
In a statement issued alongside the announcement, King Saha's team confirmed that the musician will remain away from the stage until he has fully recovered.
The team also acknowledged that the decision could affect some of his scheduled shows. According to the statement, any refunds arising from cancelled or affected performances will be handled after the singer has recovered.
“I’m currently unwell, and my doctors have advised me to rest until I regain my strength. Because of this, I will not be able to perform until I’m fully recovered. For those affected, any possible refunds will be handled after I have recovered and made sure I’m okay,” the statement read.
Reports have circulated linking King Saha's break to fatigue and other health-related concerns. However, his team has not publicly disclosed a specific medical condition, so details about his health remain limited.
For now, the singer is taking time away from performances to rest and recover. He has also asked fans and promoters to remain understanding as he follows his doctors’ advice.
