Ugandan singer Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, has claimed that President Yoweri Museveni appointed him as a senior presidential advisor on ghetto affairs.

Alien Skin made the claim while speaking during a podcast, where he maintained that the appointment is genuine and challenged anyone who doubts it to verify the information.

“I am a senior presidential advisor on ghetto affairs, go and investigate about it,” Alien Skin said.

Alien Skin Says He Has Served for Eight Months

According to Alien Skin, he has been serving in the alleged position for about eight months. The singer, however, claims that he has not collected any salary during that period.

He said that despite not receiving a salary, he has continued carrying out what he considers his responsibilities while maintaining a close connection with people in the ghetto.

“I have never picked up my salary for eight months, but I continue working. I am equal with the people that I care for in the ghetto,” he said.

Alien Skin Says the Position Has Not Changed Him

The singer also emphasized that the alleged appointment has not changed the way he relates to the people he says he represents. Alien Skin maintained that he still considers himself part of the community and remains connected to the people in the ghetto.

His comments come amid his increasing involvement in public and community-related matters in Uganda.

Alien Skin's Appointment Has Not Been Independently Confirmed

While Alien Skin has publicly claimed that he was appointed as a senior presidential advisor on ghetto affairs, the alleged appointment has not been independently confirmed by an official government source.

Similarly, his claim that he has served in the position for eight months without collecting a salary remains a statement attributed to the singer.
