DMCA / Copyright Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
GandiWave respects the intellectual property rights of artists, labels, and other rights holders. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable law.
1. Filing a takedown notice
If you believe content hosted on GandiWave infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (contact details below) that includes:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on GandiWave where the material appears (a song or artist page link, not just an artist's name).
- Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may delay processing. We may remove or disable access to the reported material without prior notice to the uploader while we review a valid claim.
2. Counter-notices
If you believe content you uploaded was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including your contact information, identification of the removed material and its former location on GandiWave, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake. We may reinstate the material after a standard waiting period unless the original complainant files a court action.
3. Repeat infringers
Accounts found to repeatedly upload infringing content will have their upload privileges suspended or terminated.
4. Designated agent / contact
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to us via the contact page, with the subject line "DMCA Notice". Notices sent through any other channel may not be processed as quickly.
