Comedian Shawa has opened up about the financial challenges he faces, revealing that his success has come with significant financial responsibilities and heavy loan obligations.

Although he considers himself the wealthiest person in his family, Shawa says he is currently struggling under the weight of loans, partly because of the responsibilities that come with supporting his relatives.

The comedian humorously linked his financial situation to his inability to gain weight, saying the pressure of repaying his debts keeps him stressed.

“For example, I am the richest person in my family, but I'm drowning in loans. Loans are taking me and are on my neck. Why do you think I don't gain weight? It's loans,” he said.

Shawa also spoke about how success can sometimes create misunderstandings between people and those they grew up with.

He explained that improving one’s lifestyle or acquiring expensive possessions does not necessarily mean abandoning family members or friends.

“People need to know that we can all win together. Someone can think that if you buy a car, you will no longer be on their level. That's really wrong,” he added.

Shawa’s remarks highlight the financial pressures that can accompany success, especially for individuals who are expected to support family members while also handling personal expenses and debt.
