Shawa

Shawa, born Ssali Shaufal, is a Ugandan comedian and entertainer best known as one half of the popular comedy duo Sammie and Shawa. Through their relatable and humorous social media skits, the duo has built a strong following and become a familiar name among Ugandan comedy lovers.
Shawa grew up in Nansana, Wakiso District, where his journey in entertainment gradually took shape. His natural sense of humour and ability to connect with audiences have played a big part in his rise as a comedian.
