Latinum, born Mbangira Tonny on October 10, 1997, is a Ugandan dancehall, ragga, and R&B artist. He rose to fame in 2017 with his breakthrough hit song "Amanya Agange" and later signed with Gifted Music Group (GMG), establishing a strong presence in the Ugandan music industry.Early Life and EducationBorn in Mbarara, Western Uganda, to parents Jim Twesigye and Rosette Ninsiima.Attended Mbarara Central Primary School and St. Andrews Secondary School, later completing high school at International Window School in Mbarara.Began his artistic path in 2010 as a church backup singer and dancer.Music CareerStarted recording professionally during his senior four vacation in 2015/2016, releasing his debut track "Ova Kampala".Gained massive nationwide airplay with hit singles including "Zimenya," "Lights Off," "Baabo," and "Man Away".Collaborated with prominent Ugandan artists like Beenie Gunter and Vinka.Overcame personal challenges.
