Nina Roz (real name Nina Kankunda) is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, and model born on July 17, 1993, in Kibuli, Kampala. Known for her work in ragga, afro-dancehall, and afro-pop, she rose to fame with hit tracks like "Mekete," "Billboard Kipande," and "Wangi".Early Life and EducationBorn to mother Lucy Mbabazi and Hajji Gitta Salongo.Grew up in Kampala with a mixed heritage of western Uganda and Rwandan roots.Attended St. Stephen's COU Primary School, Kakungulu Memorial, and Trinity College Mityana.Started a degree in Business Administration at the International University of East Africa before leaving in her second year to pursue music.
