Ashey Signal

Ashey Signal, born Ssegujja Ashiraf, is a Ugandan dancehall and ragga artist. Raised in the Mulago (Street B13) ghetto in Kampala, he discovered his musical talent early in primary school by beatboxing and drumming on desks. He leads the "Signal Gang" and is known for grassroots ghetto-inspired tracks.Early Life and BackgroundGrew up in the Mulago B13 ghetto area of Kampala.Discovered his passion for rhythm and music in primary three (P3).Practiced beatboxing and desk-banging during school breaks.
